What We Offer

At Youth Theatre Kenya, we believe every young person deserves the chance to shine — on stage, backstage, and in life. Through our programs, young people aged 9–25 discover their voices, develop new skills, and become part of a vibrant community.

  • Step into the spotlight in original plays and musicals that tell powerful Kenyan and African stories.

  • Build your skills in acting, movement, voice, ensemble work, and more — all in safe and supportive spaces.

  • Train with professional artists, directors, and visiting practitioners from Kenya and abroad.

  • Children performing on stage with some sitting and some standing, dressed in colorful costumes and head wraps, during a theatrical production.

    Why Take Part?

Build Confidence – Find your voice and grow in self-expression.

  • Black and white photo of a theatrical stage with many performers, some on the ground and others elevated on ropes and platforms, engaged in a dramatic scene with expressive poses and gestures, amid stage smoke and chains hanging from above.

    Why Take Part?

Make Friends – Connect with peers who share your passion.

  • Theatrical stage performance with a large group of diverse women and girls, some in traditional African attire, with vibrant costumes and accessories, engaging in a dance or drama scene under colorful, circular stage lights, with green foliage decorations.
